Jay-Z Vs. Nas, Who Won?

Jay-Z Vs. Nas, Who Won?

By Dr. Propaganda on Dec 06, 2009

Often considered the greatest hip-hop beef ever known, there has really never been a clear, concise victor. The beef started with the death of rapper Notorious B.I.G. to see which prominent rapper would fill his shoes as the “King of New York”. Both opponents made a valiant effort, so let’s compare both of their cases.

A Victim Impact Statement in the Case Against Lil’ Wayne

A Victim Impact Statement in the Case Against Lil’ Wayne

By Cumulonimbus Frisbee on Nov 03, 2009

A victim impact statement is a written or oral statement made by a victim at the sentencing of a convicted offender. It is a tool used to let the victim make recommendations on sentencing. Basically, to allow the victim have a say in punishment. Seeing as how Lil’ Wayne has been up on all sorts of charges lately, we at Hot Like Sauce would like to make our own written allocution of Mr. Weezy.

The Poetic Side Of Hip-Hop

The Poetic Side Of Hip-Hop

By Dr. Propaganda on Oct 08, 2009

This is an argumentative paper that I wrote for my English class trying to convince my teacher to listen to hip-hop. If auto-tuned hip-hop is your style, please read this with an open mind. Change your perspective about rap before your brain corrodes from the lack of talent put into the music that is played at the clubs.
