The Who’s legendary frontman Roger Daltrey has announced he will take their 1969 rock opera Tommy on tour this summer.
The classic album will be played live in its entirety for the first time. The Who performed the majority of the album on their 1989 tour; however, the tracks “Underture” and “Welcome” were omitted from the performances.
Daltrey premiered the show March 25th at The Royal Albert Hall in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and will now take it on the road throughout Great Britain during the month of July.
