Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, better known by his stage name Nate Dogg, passed away yesterday in Long Beach, California. He was 41.
His deep and melodic voice would provide one of the key elements in the rise of the West Coast’s G-Funk scene, aka Xxplosive West Coast shit.
He worked with Death Row Record’s most successful artists such as Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Warren G, just to name a few.
Nate Dogg will be remembered for providing infectious hooks for some of the most iconic hip-hop songs in the 90’s.
