Bonnaroo Drops 2011 Lineup Lead By Eminem, Arcade Fire, & Buffalo Springfield

The Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival has released its 2011 lineup, lead by headliners Eminem, Arcade Fire, and the recently reunited Buffalo Springfield featuring Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Richie Furay, Rock Rosas, and Joe Vitale.

Set to take place June 9th-12th in Manchester, TN, the festival also features many other big name acts such as The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Primus, String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, and The Strokes.

The lineup also features a strong indie undercard with acts like Cold War Kids, Portugal. The Man, Mumford & Sons, The Decemberists, Iron & Wine, Florence + The Machine, Gogol Bordello, and Explosions In The Sky, just to name a few.

After last year’s mainstreamed lineup, Bonnaroo chose to honor its jam roots with acts like the aforementioned SCI and Widespread Panic, as well as Warren Haynes Band, Railroad Earth, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, and Béla Fleck and the Flecktones.

There are sure to be some late night electronic ragers as well with Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Bassnectar, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Beats Antique, and Ratatat all featured on the initial lineup.

A good dose of hip-hop will be present at this year’s festival as well with headliner Eminem along with Atmosphere, Big Boi, Wiz Khalif, and shitty Lil Wayne.

Overall Bonnaroo dropped a pretty impressive initial lineup for their 10th anniversary of the festival with heavy hitters from nearly every genre; full initial lineup and video announcement below.
