The Kills, the UK duo of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, have announced a new studio album set to be released April 5th. Titled Blood Pressures, the album will be the first since their critically acclaimed third album Midnight Boom. A U.S. tour in support of the album is also expected to be announced in the near future.

The announcement marks the long awaited return of The Kills since Mosshart had been working with The Dead Weather since late 2008.
