Dispatch Announces Brief Summer Tour

Revered indie-jammers Dispatch have announced they will reunite for a brief summer tour of the United States.

After entering an indefinite hiatus in 2002 the group has played only a handful of shows in 2004, 2007, and most recently in 2009. This will mark the first time the band has rejoined for more than a one-off show or charity event.

The tour, consisting of six dates, will see them play some of America’s most beloved venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado and the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA. Tickets will go on sale Jan 28, with exclusive fan presale beginning Jan 21. In order to be eligible to receive the presale password, you must join Dispatch’s mailing list.

Dispatch is also giving away all four of their studio albums to those willing to help spread the word about their upcoming summer tour. All you need to do is connect with the band on their Twitter and Facebook and tell five friends about Dispatch 2011 to receive Four Day Trials, Who Are We Living For?, Silent Steeples, and Bang Bang.
