Summer Camp made its first round of artist additions Wednesday adding Bassnectar, Papadosio, Yonder Mountain String Band, Skrillex, and The Pimps of Joytime to an all ready stellar lineup.

Lorin Ashton of Bassnectar will bring his womping dub-step to camp along with fellow dub-stepper Skrillex. Hopefully the late-night acts aren’t fully finalized and everyone can experience the full Bassnectar experience with lights and all.

I’m really glad to see Ohio-based up and comers Papadosio on the lineup after exploding into the festival electronic scene with impressive performances at All Good, Summerdance, Desiderata, Forecastle, Camp Bisco, and Bear Creek last year.

The infectious funk of The Pimps of Joytime and the great bluegrass jams from Yonder Mountain String Band will help give a little more balance to an electronic heavy lineup—not that I’m complaining.
