The second season of HBO’s hit series Eastbound & Down finally seems to be pulling together. Over a year after being renewed for another season, information about the sophomore season finally arises.

Filming is currently taking place in Puerto Rico, which will serve as Mexico. The new season will see many changes in the show including Kenny Power’s move to Mexico and the addition of two new cast members, Michael Pena and Ana de la Reguera, from Observe & Report and Nacho Libre respectively. Michael Pena will play Kenny’s friend and team owner and Ana de la Reguera will play his love interest.

Because of his move from North Carolina to Mexico, many of the original cast members will no longer be featured, with the exception of Stevie Janowski who will track down Kenny in Mexico. Casting is also rumored to be underway for Kenny Powers’ father.

No word on a premiere date but be sure to check back for updates.
