While you eagerly await Lupe Fiasco’s third studio effort you can catch up with The Cool at one of his numerous North American dates on his upcoming Steppin’ Laser tour.
The 20+ date North American tour is set to kick off March 5th in Claremont, CA. The tour, which features supporting act B.o.B., will work its way across the U.S. and wrap up May 7th with a performance in Seattle, WA. With the absence of a Chicago date, speculation of a forthcoming addition to the Lollapalooza lineup has arisen.
As for his upcoming album, Lasers, there is no word on a release date yet. Lupe explains:
“It’s one of the sadder parts of being on a major record label. At a certain point it’s out of your hands. About a date for Lasers, it’s truly on them. I have no idea what they’re going to do.”
